Accessibility

Neighborhood

This is a historic neighborhood smack dab in the middle of Bend. There are multimillion dollar homes, as well as ones that haven't changed since they were built in the '20s. Nearby First Street Rapids Park has a variety of picnic areas and river access.

Guest Access

There is a private stairway entrance from the backyard where you can come and go at any hour. You'll have access to a kitchenette (with sink, microwave, Keurig machine, ample counter space, picnic supplies, etc.), and a private bathroom.

Good to know

This is a second-story 'mother-in-law' suite that was built as an addition in the 90's. It is fully self-contained, including a separate exterior entrance. It is attached to the main body of the house via an interior staircase which has two locking doors at the top and bottom of the staircase.

Other Details to Note

Please note that because the room is attached to our main home separated by a stairway, there are some normal household noises that will come into the room. We aren't a loud family, but if you are expecting total silence, you might want to look for another option. Note that dogs are not allowed, including Emotional Support Animals, which are not recognized as service animals in the state of Oregon. If you are bringing a service animal, we would appreciate if you would describe what duties or work it has been trained to perform, and if it is required because of a disability.

This is a super cute studio in a great part of town! We especially loved the fact that Ryan & Katie only use unscented detergent and cleaning supplies! We hope to check out one of their other Airbnb rentals in the future! Thank you!

I loved this space and my time here. It felt peaceful and private and you can tell the owners pay attention to every last detail. The decor was great - I loved all the plants - and it was equipped with everything I needed for my stay (I especially appreciate how well stocked the kitchenette was). The location was great - a block to the river and a short walk downtown. I was happy to meet Ryan and he gave me some great recommendations that made my stay better. I definitely would stay here again.

Loved our stay in this charming, cozy studio. The bed was super comfortable, the decor so cute with the botanical theme, wood ceiling, real plants. The kitchen was supplied perfectly for little breakfasts, lunches and cocktails. Bathroom was plentifully stocked with nice towels. The place was clean. The BEST location…we walked the river trail every day. Ryan, the host, was prompt, thoughtful and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better stay!!

Thanks so much! We appreciated the beautiful overall design of your nice space. It couldn’t have been better. We needed a space in Bend for a couple of days while visiting friends. This one is centrally located and yet very quiet and private. Couldn’t have matched the description better!

This spot was the perfect space for me to get away to rest. Ryan and Kate were extremely generous and proactive with their communication. This room was so peaceful and had so much space. I hope it’s available next time I visit the area.

Location

Sorry we're unable to show you the location for this property

Bend is certainly not known for it's public transportation, but fortunately there is ample street parking due to a vacant lot next to our home. There is also parking in front of our home.
