Accessibility

Neighborhood

A mixed urban downtown setting with traditional historical homes converted to businesses. This is truly right downtown --you are 1.5 blocks from a hip coffee shop, 75 feet from beer-on-tap, and a 7 minute walk to the iconic Drake Park. In the evening there is often live music or DJs just across the alley at the Bunk and Brew (most people love it!). Please be aware it can be noisy in the backyard or bedroom but should be wrapped up by 10pm.

Guest Access

The entire house is accessible to guests, with two exceptions: the garage and the loft. The laundry is in the closet, in the front room.

Good to know

An inviting home with lovely light, attention to detail, character and historic charm.

Other Details to Note

Live music can be heard from the historic Lucas House next door and can vary from acoustic guitar to rock and karaoke. The music should be wrapped up at 10 pm but often goes a bit late. Note that this is an urban setting and comes with urban sounds. It is also close to the parkway (which is actually very convenient!) Wildfire smoke is a significant risk in the mid-summer to late fall in the PNW, especially east of the Cascades. Please note that both Airbnb (and by extension, us as hosts) can not predict or control the weather or the smoke, and neither of these are considered grounds for exceptions to the refund policy. If you want a more flexible cancellation policy due to air quality/smoke, we recommend purchasing travel insurance through Airbnb, which is offered to you during the booking process. If your time in Bend is impacted by smoke, we are happy to help you make the best of it—there are often times of day or parts of the surrounding area that are far less smoky than others. We live here and understand the challenge. Note that dogs are not allowed, including Emotional Support Animals, which are not recognized as service animals in the state of Oregon. If you are bringing a service animal, we would appreciate if you would describe what duties or work it has been trained to perform, and if it is required because of a disability.

This was probably my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Attention to detail was incredible, so nice and exactly as pictured. Very cozy and homey. Bed was like a cloud. Location was perfect, we parked for the extent of our stay and walked to everything. Anywhere you could want to go in town is at your fingertips. Airbnb was well stocked, very clean and tasteful. No notes! Backyard is super charming. We hope to come back!

This is a lovely place to stay in Bend! Close to downtown, easy access to toads that take you to nature, great restaurants nearby. The house was thoughtfully remodeled with great attention to detail. Feels like a home, not a rental. We had no problems with toad or neighbor noise. Ryan was really kind and responded very quickly. I would absolutely stay again!

This home felt super cozy, clean and relaxing. There is an awesome bar/food cart pop on the backside and it’s a very short walk to the heart of Old Bend. Ryan was an incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful host with excellent communication. I would stay here again for sure.
