Guest Access

The lowest floor this house is for guest use. Note that there is a laundry/utility room in the very back of the house, accessed from the back bedroom. This area is not intended for guest access (but is left open as emergency exit). It is fully lockable from the guest side, so you can be assured security and privacy.

Other Details to Note

Please note that this is a renovated basement apartment, with a 3 bedroom house above it. We added insulation, double layered drywall hung on sound-deadening "resilient channel" hardware, but there is still some noise that does transmit down to the living space. We provide white noise machines in each bedroom, ear plugs, and carefully vet our main-level guests, but please be aware that some level of noise from footsteps and water pipes is likely. Note that dogs are not allowed, including Emotional Support Animals, which are not recognized as service animals in the state of Oregon. If you are bringing a service animal, we would appreciate if you would describe what duties or work it has been trained to perform, and if it is required because of a disability.

Centrally located and extremely convenient access to Hwy 20 (one block away). Walk/Bike access to food trucks, bowling and other urban gems. Backporch coffee on Greenwood is 2 minute drive towards downtown. Costco and Whole Foods is a 4 minute drive towards the east. Located at the base of Pilot Butte, cross hwy 20 to find yourself on this popular cinder cone trail (1.8 mi round trip).
