High Desert Escapes

We had a great time at Ryan's place. It was so fun to walk to downtown for breakfast and dinner each day. We sat on the patio in the morning for coffee. The inside was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Hands down, the nicest airbnb we have ever stayed in. Felt like grandma's house meets luxury hotel, in the best way possible. We felt pampered and right at home. So cozy! Thank you!!

We stayed for one night in July and had a great experience. Check-in was seamless, and we really appreciated the privacy of the location. It’s just a 5-minute drive to Smith Rock, and we were able to hike the Misery Ridge Loop twice—once in the evening after we arrived and again the next morning before check-out. The house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed. On the day we arrived, there was moderate smoke in the area due to a nearby wildfire, which affected visibility and air quality—something to keep in mind if you're planning a summer visit. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time and no complaints. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Ryan was a great and communicative host. Clean and comfortable house, cute and private backyard, and easily walkable to downtown shops and restaurants. The EV charging was the cherry on top.

Fun & funky in all the right ways, very clean , amazing beds + all the accessories ( the ooops, I forgot box saved me) The lovely patio and hot tub was just icing on the cake. The kitchen was great and it’s right down the street from Whole Foods + lots of options for adventures. Worth every cent! 💚

Amazing stay at Ryan’s place! The unit was clean and comfy and located in an amazing area! Just a couple minutes to the river and downtown, but far enough away from all the noise! Would definitely stay here again!

This place was a great stay, and had enough rooms for our party of 6! Ryan was communicating with us right from the start! He made sure the place was cooled down before we got there after a long hot day, had a binder with everything we needed from basic needs to recommendations for things to do or eat. The location is nice and peaceful, with many places to refuel and explore nearby. Ryan was an amazing host and would fully recommend any place Ryan provides. Me and my buddies loved it, and so will you. Thanks Ryan!

This space is breathtaking!!! Ryan was incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful, so I knew our stay would go well! I unfortunately haven't always had great experiences, but this was to the contrary! The space was EXACTLY like the photos! It was extremely inviting, beyond clean and organized, but nothing compared to the views in this home! The amenities were the best I've ever seen, the bed was super comfy, the sauna shower was fantastic, and there was even a white noise machine for guests! Not to mention it was hot and in the 90's, but the AC worked wonderfully and kept this space super cool, even with all the windows! Our daughter got married at Smith Rock, and this home is only about 6 minutes away. For a time that could have been stressful, it was exactly the opposite thanks to Ryan! This home provided a tranquil getaway for us, and we are grateful for the experience! If you're considering this home, don't hesitate and reserve it now! You'll be glad you did! :-)

Great location, easy access to the river/walking trails. Space just as described and perfect for our long weekend away. Everything we needed, including coffee supplies! Great hosts, gave clear instructions for where to park and checking in. Highly recommend if you are visiting Bend
